Development of Minimal Ballast Water Ship

In order to comply with the "International Convention for the Control and Management of Ship's Ballast Water and Sediments" by IMO, one approach is to introduce Ballast water treatment system onboard. This paper describes the concept of Non Ballast Water Ship or NOBS concept and Minimal Ballast Water Ship, which combines the merits of NOBS and Ballast water treatment system
