The 9th Navigational Symposium will be held from 15 to 17 June 2011 (Wednesday - Friday). The Symposium is organized by the Faculty of Navigation of the Gdynia Maritime University and The Nautical Institute. The Symposium is addressed to scientists and professionals in order to share their expert knowledge, experience and research results concerning all aspects of navigation, safety of navigation and sea transportation.

As one of the world's busiest centres of offshore work boat activity, it is perhaps surprising that the Arabian Gulf had not, until 2009, been blessed with a focused offshore and workboat exhibition and conference.
Local workboat operators and their suppliers are no longer being neglected. Baird Maritime, publishers of the world’s leading small ship trade magazine Work Boat World and organiser of numerous successful marine trade exhibitions around the globe, has announced GULF OFFSHORE and WORK BOAT 2011 to follow its very successful inaugural event held in April 2009.
The GULF OFFSHORE and WORK BOAT 2011 exhibition and conference will again be held in the Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Centre, this time from April 11 – 13, 2011. It will be widely and intensively promoted both in the Gulf and beyond by Baird Publications and a number of other media supporters.
