Doha-Qatar 03-03-2010: In a major announcement from the organizers of the 2nd Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition & Conference (DIMDEX) 2010, the UK Royal Navy has confirmed plans for three ships to participate in the DIMDEX Warship Display being held at Doha Commercial Port from 29th March to 31st April 2010.

The 2nd Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2010) has announced that Boeing has signed a landmark agreement to exhibit at the Middle East and North Africa’s most comprehensive and only fully integrated maritime defence event for the first time.

Representatives from the Doha 2nd International Maritime Defence Exhibition & Conference 2010 (DIMDEX 2010) have returned from hugely successful visits to three of the world’s premier defence exhibitions with news that the DIMDEX French Pavilion is fully booked and manufacturers of the caliber of DCNS, CMN, DCI/NAVFCO/DESCO and Zodiac, headed by GICAN/SOGENA, have confirmed their participation at DIMDEX 2010 in Doha from 29th to 31st March 2010.

The 2nd Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2010), organized by QMDI and hosted by the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces (QENF), has reported 90% exhibition sales as the Middle East and North Africa’s only integrated maritime defence exhibition and conference remains on course to sell out in advance of the event’s 29th March 2010 opening.

The Anchor of Maritime Defence in the Middle East & North Africa - Under the auspices of H.H. Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Heir Apparent of the state of Qatar, hosted by Qatar Armed Forces and Qatar Emiri Naval Forces, QMDI is to stage Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition (DIMDEX). Following its successful inauguration in 2008, Qatar will once again host DIMDEX in March 29 – 31 2010. The only comprehensive and fully integrated naval and coastal defence show in the MENA region.
